Mental Trigger 02: reciprocity!
Last week, I went to the supermarket late at guatemala phone number list night, just to Mentality of Reciprocity buy a liter of milk and half a dozen bananas. I was in a hurry, but as soon as I entered, there was a girl offering a tasting of Cacildis beer.
She asked me if I would like to try it, and explained to me what made this beer different from the others.
When I tried it and made a face like I liked it, she said: “I noticed that you liked it. I’m happy.” And that was it.
I didn’t think about anything
I just bought the beer. It turns out that human mbudo’s path to hubspot diamond partner status beings have a tendency to want to give back to that which generates value for us in some way. It is natural to feel gratitude or even debt towards the person who helped us.
Just to give one more example: in the United States, a study showed that sending a $5 “gift” check along with an insurance survey was twice as effective as offering a $50 payment after the completed survey was returned.
Well, on the internet, it’s no different. Reciprocity resource data is often used as a mental trigger in Digital Marketing, as I’ll illustrate below!
How to apply reciprocity in your company’s marketing?
Rule #1: Give your prospects/customers VALUABLE information.
Don’t just focus on the details of your product, but rather content that relates to the need. This will show that you want to solve the problem first, and not necessarily shove your product down their throat.
Rule : Offer something of value to your customer.
In the digital environment, you can provide a Guide, Template, Calculator, anything that Mentality of Reciprocity helps your audience with a problem they face.
But be creative, think of actions that make your customer feel special. For example: a personalized coupon/gift for a customer’s birthday makes them feel remembered by your brand, and they are more likely to reciprocate/buy!
Rule : Create Relationship Actions!
At some point in your customer’s buying journey, a sample or trial will come in handy. They will certainly be grateful for the opportunity to try the product/service without having to pay for it, and will only buy if it makes sense for them.
Why does it work? In addition to demonstrating confidence in the quality of what you are offering, you have activated the Reciprocity trigger: he is already grateful to you, and that is half the battle!
