RD SUMMIT: after all, is it worth it

It worth it  InspirationAs you all know, Trammit was present at RD SUMMIT 2019 and to tell a little about this experience, nothing better than sharing the incredible testimony of Dan Oliveira , our CEO and founder of the agency <3

One day I was asked how I would summarize the RD SUMMIT.
For me it is quite simple: it is the New Year’s Eve of Digital Marketing!

Are you ready to travel? Then come with me:

Imagine thousands of people el-salvador phone number list from your area, who speak your language, all in a moment of humility – they came from all corners of the country to learn. All this in Floripa, a beautiful beach city with an extraordinary energy. Oh, and one of the lecture tents, where happy hour takes place, is right on the seafront.

Did you like it?

Take a break (take a break from your work routine), learn and let off steam.

I didn’t call it the new year of digital marketing 8 examples of christmas marketing campaigns by chance: is it worth it a paradisiacal journey, with people like you, with new learnings for you to use next.

Success! But could this formula go wrong? Oh, it could.

Every year that passes, the RDSummit grows exponentially. If in 2018 there were around 7,000 people, this year there were over 12,000.

I thought at the time: there’s a chance of chaos, lines, headaches, missing lectures, bathroom problems… but that’s where one of RD’s trademarks has been catching my attention: they spare no effort (or money) on infrastructure and people. I was impressed by the organization of the event as a whole: cleanliness, food truck options, air conditioning, sound… everything was really impeccable. At Happy Hour: more than 3 hours of draft beer, live shows, and a closing show by Skank. Is that easy?

As for the staff, what can I say?

They were all having fun and working hard for the rich data guests. You could see how happy each one was to be part of that moment; they looked you in the eye, smiled, and served you in a friendly manner. To give you an idea, they were all the ones who served the draft beer during Happy Hour – a lesson in humility, giving back, and empathy.

However none of this would be enough

if there was no content for everyone: content!
And there were lectures for all tastes and focuses – most of them of high quality.

Personally, if last year what struck me was the word “scale” , this yearis it worth it   the strength came from “ humanization ”. In the era of bots and automations everywhere, the current talk is about people. Values, culture, kindness, gentleness. And the event is a show in itself in this sense.
