And it’s finally here! We evaluated the questionnaire with questions on salaries and billings, which we sent out some time ago. What did we find out?

Salaries have increased by 20-50% in the last 5 years, and they grew more in Prague than in the rest of the country. And also, freelancers outside of Prague have matched Prague and increased their billing by double.

We were inspired by a survey of salaries in the PPC industry by Robert Štípek from Kofein. Robert conducted the survey in August 2018 and a month later presented the results at our 7th PPC Camp .

Robert subsequently wrote a bc data china very comprehensive article in which he also focused on the overall context of working in the PPC industry and interpreted the data in detail.

At that time, Robert worked with 373 responses, which included 33 employers, 66 freelancers and 274 employees. And we repeated Robert’s survey this year.

What we asked:

In addition to the monthly salary of PPC specialists, we were also interested in what kind of working relationship PPC specialists have with their employer (employer, employee at HPP, employee at IČ or freelancer),

who they work for (agency, client’s in-house team, various freelance clients), their subjectively perceived level of advancement (junior, mid-level, senior) and length of experience in the field, in which city they work, and finally what company benefits they use.

Respondents:

In total, we collected over 300 responses, after cleaning the data we worked with 271 responses. The biggest switzerland leads challenge was with juniors. Only 17 juniors (length of practice under 1 year) responded .

We wanted to compare the data and see where the salaries of PPC workers had moved over the past 5 years. We sent our questionnaire out into the world in April this year and so we finally have the results.
